An all IP Convergence World

All 15 teams have finally been briefed in detail about Ericsson's requirements and desired outcomes for this competition. Professor Venkat (below) articulated the guidelines, resources and criteria for the competition. The world of internet protocol (IP) is becoming increasingly complex with the arrival of the convergence of voice, video and data on a common, flexible IP platform. These issues are at the forefront of Ericsson's executives' mind and this competition will confront this core group of creme de la crème to frame the opportunities and challenges facing Ericsson, identify the risks and vulnerabilities and of course, provide sound recommendations.

Ericsson's stellar past performance with recent wins in the industry and solid financial performance presents a company not to be triffled with, but how well is Ericsson poised for the future?
