Teams are arriving at breakneck speed, I certainly hope my colleagues at Logan International are able to hold down the fortress.

The second member flying into Logan International touched down at 2.10pm joining the rest of the team who arrived in Boston earlier.

Queen's School of Business, Queen's University, Canada

The first team to arrive Thursday morning is from Queen's University, Canada.








Addressing the question of whether Queen's University is changing its cirriculum as a result of the economic crisis, Dean Saunders, Queen's University responded "Whether the economy is booming or busting, our first priority is to teach tomorrow’s business leaders the fundamentals of business -- including risk management, ethics and judgement -- and help them develop a global perspective".

It's just one day before the official start of the 4th Annual Tech Strategy Case Competition 2009. 2 more teams arrived today, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and IPADE Business School, Mexico.

The first teams to arrive

Seoul National University, Korea and 3/4s of Fudan University, China are the first of the 15 teams to arrive in Boston today. The remaining member of Fudan University will arrive tomorrow.

To provide a better understanding of the various teams, a short introduction to the competing schools will follow in the next few blog posts.

The case competition committee here at the BU School of Management is super excited to be organizing the 4th International Tech Strategy case competition - we are especially looking forward to seeing new faces & talent coming in top b-schools from around the world.
That is the first sentence-paragraph I ever wrote. On a more serious note, we want our readers to keep coming back to this blog, to read about our teams for this year's competition and how they will formulate their strategies in a grueling 24-hour competition, right here, in the heart of bustling Boston.
